The mission of APQC Education is to help improve the nation's K-12 education system by focusing on process improvement. With the 'flattening' of the world, international competition for a skilled work force is becoming a major issue, much like what faced the business community 30 years ago. We need to respond in a similar fashion by shifting our focus from monitoring inputs and outcomes to one that measures 'value added', or more specifically the processes we use to produce our results.
